WHO ARE WE?
The Oakura Meat Co & Fine Foods is the realisation of a dream of Stacey and Vaughan Coveny. Stacey and Vaughan were childhood sweethearts who found their way back to each other in 2020.
Whilst rekindling their own romance, they fell in love all over again with Oakura, the place they met, and moved back to the Naki in 2021.
A butcher by trade, Vaughan has long had the dream to own his own business, with a focus on quality – quality products, quality service and quality time with customers – a time that harks back to the days when customers were valued, and individual attention was paid to customer wants and needs.
We are in a prime spot in Oakura and slightly back off the main street so it is a great spot to chill out on our Bean Bags or deck.
One thing led to the other, the stars aligned, and the vision was created. They have been working hard over the past 6 months bringing their vision to fruition and are so excited to share their dream with you.
